The last week of September marks the official start of fall. Warm up this week with can’t-miss events and indulge in style, music and vino. Mosaic Fashion Week, Under 40 Music Marathon, Wine Riot and so much more. We’ve got all the deets here.

9/26: Fashion ReDeux

D.C.-based creative and PR agencies Made in the District and Haute Haus Agency will honor the District’s 25 most stylish (think lifestyle maven Hilary Phelps, Top Chef Spike Mendelsohn and style blogger E of District of Chic) at Fashion ReDeux, a runway presentation and cocktail event on Sept. 26 from 8-11 p.m at Studio 52 (52 O. St. NW). Tickets ($60) get you access to the fashionable event, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, photo booth and more.

9/27: Eileen Fisher Shop Local

New York designer Eileen Fisher and D.C. native Kitiya King of Mischo Beauty join forces to host an Eileen Fisher Shop Local event benefitting the Association Women Business Centers, a non-profit org that represents women business owners. 9/27-9/28: Wine Riot

Events and tech start-up Second Glass brings Wine Riot — a fun alternative to posh wine tasting festivals — back to D.C. Sept. 27-28 at The Spinx Club (1315 K St. NW). A ticket ($60) gets you access to over 200 wine samples from all over the world (regional booths and bubbly bar), Wine 101 crash courses, bites from Luke’s Lobsters, photo booth and tattoo station. Snag your tickets at secondglass.com/wineriot.

Think 40 hours of back-to-back performances from local and national artists like Josh Urban, The Braes and Burntsystems. The event also benefits City of Hope’s breast cancer research and treatment programs. Tickets ($20) are available at Pinkjams.org.

9/28: Style Speaks Seminar – Organizing Your Closet

Arlington-based wardrobe consultant Cathy Starnes and D.C.-based professional organizer Tiffany Mensing co-host a style seminar discussing ways to organize your closet on Sept. 28 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Alexandria boutique Periwinkle (1557 Potomac Greens Dr.). Expect tips on what to keep, what to purge and strategies for smart shopping.
