Don’t be bummed that New York Fashion Week is over. We’ve got the scoop on must-attend fashion shows and events around town to keep you in the style state of mind. Think Old Town Alexandria’s Annual Scavenger Hunt and D.C. Fashion Week. Plus score the deets on what’s coming up early next week.

Periwinkle, the Potomac Greens staple that opened in 2005, has never looked better! Fresh off of a remodel for their Old Town location’s 8th anniversary, the boutique is fully stocked and ready for fall! Updated décor in their signature periwinkle and black, along with a lush new seating area (to try on all of their buttery leather boots) and brighter displays for bejeweled baubles add to the fun, fresh vibe. Brands like Trina Turk, Nanette Lepore and Beverly Feldman hold court near pieces by local designers Simple Girl Designs and Ruth Barzel. Check out pictures on Instagram by searching #PeriwinkleAnniversary
