Our Big Announcement: FW Turns One!

If you saw our new issue, you got the scoop that FW is celebrating our first birthday with a big bash!

Our most fashionable friends — along with special guest Scott Schuman, aka fashion photog/blogger special guest Scott Schuman, aka fashion photog/blogger The Sartorialist — will mark our first anniversary on Monday, Oct. 19, from 7-9 p.m at brand-new 14th Street spot Masa 14 (1825 14th St. NW). The party is invite-only, but we’ll be including 50 lucky readers to join us at the fete.

Want to come? There are several ways to win tickets:

1.Follow us on Twitter at @fwstylewatch and @fwupdates. Just send us a tweet — such as, “I want to join the party!” — and we’ll enter you into the drawing.

2.Become a fan of FW on Facebook (search for “Fashion Washington” to find us) and leave a note on our wall to let us you want to be in the running for a party invite.

3.Join our fashion advice web chat at noon on Friday, Sept. 25, when FW editors Jenn and Betsy will be dishing out style suggestions and shopping news. Anyone who makes a comment or asks a question during the chat will be automatically entered to win.

Do all three, and you’ve got three chances to win! We’ll be holding our lucky drawing on Oct. 5, so make sure you’ve been in touch before that.

Not one of our big winners? You can still meet The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, who will hang out at after the party ends. Stop by Masa 14 from 9-10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, to buy his new book, get it signed and have the chance to chat fashion with Scott while he’s in town. Who knows? Maybe he’ll even snap your picture.
